Since 1990 the Western has been granted an Accredited Training Post in the field of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (Board of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery). This is for Plastic Registrar Training. Application for Hand Training Post is in preparation at present as an additional training post. |

This MD thesis depends on producing the ongoing series of publications including CD-ROMS for various aspects of Plastic and Reconstructive and Hand Surgery techniques, including Melanoma. |

The present clinical commitment relates to the amalgamation to the unit work to include Sunshine campus development. Eventually all units will be stationed at Sunshine. My plan is to continue our present workload of major cases to be done at Western Hospital and the less complicated ones to be done at Sunshine on a supervised transitional basis. |
